Media invited to join mental health leaders at CMHA’s national virtual conference

Toronto (ONTARIO) Oct. 15, 2020 – The Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) will host its fifth annual Mental Health for All Conference (MH4A 2020) LIVE on a virtual platform on Tuesday, October 20, 2020. The national event, themed Hope in an age of uncertainty, brings together leaders, thinkers and front-line workers to discuss these profoundly challenging times—and how to hold out hope for our nation’s recovery.

With generous support from the Mental Health Commission of Canada and The Co-operators, the conference will feature Minister of Health Patty Hajdu, keynotes by Dr. Kwame McKenzie and Rumeet Billan, PhD, a youth panel, CEO panel, remarks by CMHA National Board Chair Karen Hetherington, CMHA National CEO Margaret Eaton and an array of curated sessions on peer support, substance use, the mental health of justice-involved people and more.
